Rear Dormer Loft Conversion, Cassilis Rd, Twickenham

This project involved transforming an unused attic space in a home on Cassilis Road in Twickenham into a comfortable and practical new living area. The loft previously had limited headroom and was mainly used for storage.
After completing a detailed assessment, we recommended a rear dormer loft conversion to maximise usable floor space and create full standing height across the new level.
The dormer extension allowed large rear-facing windows to be installed, bringing natural light into the loft and creating a bright and welcoming environment.

Client’s Problem
The homeowner needed additional living space but wanted to remain in their current property.
Their main challenges included:

• No spare bedroom available for guests or family members
• Only one bathroom serving the entire home
• An attic space that was difficult to access and underused
