Rear Dormer Loft Conversion, Goldsmith Avenue, Acton, W3

This project focused on unlocking the potential of an underused loft in a family home on Goldsmith Avenue in Acton. The attic space had suitable roof height but lacked proper flooring, insulation and natural light.
Following a detailed inspection, we recommended a rear dormer loft conversion to expand the available space and create a comfortable new floor within the home.
The rear dormer allowed us to significantly increase headroom while introducing large windows that filled the loft with natural daylight.

Client’s Problem
The family needed additional space as their child was growing and the existing layout no longer met their needs.
Their key concerns were:

• No dedicated bedroom for their child
• Lack of an additional bathroom in the house
• Insufficient storage space for family life
• An empty loft that was not being used effectively
