Rear Dormer Loft Conversion, Teddington, TW11

This project involved upgrading an unused loft space in a home on Teddington, TW11, by converting it into a bright and practical living area. Previously, the attic was only used for storage and had limited headheight and light.
After carrying out a full structural survey and roof assessment, we recommended a rear dormer loft conversion to maximise floor space and create a comfortable new floor.
The rear dormer design allowed us to introduce large windows that bring in natural light and elevate the overall feel of the space.

Client’s Problem
The homeowner wanted to create extra living space to improve the family’s lifestyle but preferred not to move to a larger property.
The key challenges included:

• No dedicated bedroom for additional occupants
• Only one bathroom available in the house

We designed a layout that opened up the loft and created a stylish and functional new floor.
