Rear Dormer Loft Conversion, Wormholt Road, Shepherd's Bush

This project focused on transforming the loft of a family home on Wormholt Road in Shepherd’s Bush into a spacious and fully functional new floor. The attic previously had limited headroom and was only being used for storage.
After conducting a full survey, we recommended a rear dormer loft conversion to maximise the available floor area and create full-height living spaces.
The dormer extension allowed us to install large rear-facing windows, ensuring the new rooms felt bright and comfortable.

Client’s Problem
The family needed more bedrooms and bathroom facilities but wanted to avoid the cost and disruption of moving house.
Their main challenges included:

• Not enough bedrooms for the growing household
• Insufficient bathroom facilities for daily routines
• An unused loft space that lacked proper access
• Limited storage throughout the property

• Large rear dormer windows to maximise natural daylight

• Enhanced insulation and ventilation for year-round comfort

The completed loft conversion provided the family with valuable extra space while significantly enhancing the functionality and value of their Shepherd’s Bush home.
