Velux Loft Conversion, Brentford, TW8

This project focused on converting an unused attic in a home in Brentford into a comfortable and light-filled living space. The loft had suitable height but required structural upgrades, insulation and better access.
After assessing the property, we recommended a Velux loft conversion as the most cost-effective and least disruptive option. This approach allowed us to retain the existing roofline while making the space fully functional.
Multiple roof windows were installed to bring in natural light and fresh air, creating a bright and welcoming environment.

Client’s Problem
The homeowner wanted additional living space but preferred a simpler and more affordable alternative to major roof alterations.
Their main challenges included:

• No spare bedroom available in the property
• Only one bathroom serving the home
• An attic space that lacked proper flooring and lighting
• Limited storage options throughout the house

The goal was to create a practical bedroom and bathroom while maintaining the original appearance of the property.

We designed a smart layout that transformed the attic into a functional and comfortable new living area.
